This is a first for me. This pandemic has rocked my professional world. Everything I have worked to build for the last 10 years when I ‘reinvented’ myself after I left my US job, is now defunct. Will it come back to life? Of course it will! Will I completely abandon those businesses? Absolutely not!
I have built relationships with these clients and friends. People depend on my services and my businesses. Sure, they can find someone to fill the need. Everyone is replaceable. But for me, pivot does not mean “hard abandonment”. It means I am surviving. I am pivoting how run my businesses to pay my bills.
The other really cool thing about this pandemic is how it has forced me back in to thinking about the direction of my pivot.
